Description

Designed in 1960, the Duna cutlery set is a perennial example of measured form. Minimalist lines, progressively tapering handles, the designer focused on one detail, the narrowing of the end portion of the grip, a sort of “narrow waist” reminiscent of female clothing of the 1950s. It is the distinctive element of the whole series. Duna embodies Marco Zanuso’s poetics, a combination of technicalindustrial severity, formal sensitivity and the ability to instil charm even in day-to-day objects.
