Designer Marta Sansoni designed this oil bottle for the Italian brand Alessi. It is more than just an oil bottle, as the shiny stainless steel spout can be placed on any bottle of olive oil. This spout ensures that the oil can be poured in the right amount. The built-in closure valve in the spout also ensures that the bottle is sealed when not in use, controlling the oxidation process of the oil.

When you place the spout on the small accompanying bottle, you not only have a fun, small bottle of oil on the table, but a classic tasting bottle to taste and evaluate the olive oil. The dark green glass prevents the taster from seeing the color of the oil and potentially being influenced during tasting. A design with a story behind it that will undoubtedly surprise many culinary enthusiasts as a gift.
